I have worked with, led, and founded professional service firms in Sweden and Australia. From large multinationals like Publicis, and Young & Rubicam, to co-founding firms such as Laurent & Partners, and now leading Mihell & Lycos. I have also enjoyed diversity of sectors, as the CMO for a national engineering consultancy, Lucid, to working with clients in accounting, law, architecture, and civil engineering.
During this time, I’ve seen horrific errors and brilliant strategies. Over the past 25 years, I’ve managed or earned hundreds of millions in billings, so it’s safe to say that I have seen just about everything, and I’m thankful that there is always something new to learn.
The coming decade will be thrilling for Professional Service Firms, particularly for those who embrace change. This era is about committing to evolving client needs, leveraging technology, and reshaping business models for global success. The next 10 to 15 years will challenge leaders to go beyond business as usual. As the talent pool tightens, client demands evolve, and technology punches a hole in BAU models, there lies a golden opportunity; firms can achieve unprecedented levels of profitability and global reach.
All it takes is for leaders to accept that change is inevitable, be excited about the future, and make the right moves at the right time.
I eagerly anticipate being an integral part of this journey, steering your firm towards innovation, focus, and becoming the winner in tomorrow’s market.
